 Advice please...

I recently took my sisters veiled chameleon away from her after I noticed the poor thing was not in good shape. I have a healthy chameleon of my own and 17 leopard geckos. The chameleon is female and still pretty young. She looks underweight and appears to be having trouble using her back legs. She will use them but she wont support her weight on them... she just kinda drags herself with her front legs... its extremely heartbreaking. So far the only thing I can think of is MBD due to my sister not turning on the UV light on a regular basis as well as not dusting her crickets. I haven’t noticed her eating anything obviously due to the difficulty movement must be for her. Right now I am syringe feeding her Repti-aid and she is eating it somewhat. I also continue to attempt to hand feed her mealworms and she has shown interest but i think she is still to nervous to eat them from my hand. I was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions on what I could do to help her regain her health. Any suggestions or opinions are greatly appericated. I really just don’t want to see her die.

If you suspect MBD a vet visit would be in order-they would give her a calcium boost shot to get her back on track. Good luck!

go with Julirs , and also try using crickets instead of meal worms , crickets have a way higher nutrience level then meal worms , meal worms are garbage if you ask me they have little to no nutricition at all , so try using gutlaoded crickets they are the best and also silkworms work good, i just hope she might not be egg bound , because some female will get paralyzed from all the excess eggs pushing up against organs and there back hip so it creates presure and they just wont use them , but i hope everything is all good and your bring this pour girl back to her feet
