 How about a chameleon?

Hello everyone,

Im interested in buying a chameleon.
I would want it to be around 10 cm long(4 inches).
What would you suggest as a species that would fit in this categorie?

Thank you,

Olivia

(Pics would be great!)

you want it to be around 4" long.. but is that ADULT size, or just juvenile..

the only "chameleon" that will fit in that category is the pygmy chameleon.. which arent true chams...

here is a pic of one of my females..

if you are talking baby size at 4"... then maybe start with a Veiled?

your only option then would be the pygmy species..

of which there are quite a few... and most of them are reasonably priced.. the female in the picture was sold to me for $25.00

granted that you wont get all of the coloration that you would with real chameleons, but some pygmy species have nice blue/green hues to them...
