Remember me? i had a male veiled chameleon a year or so back. it ran away when i accidentally left it by itself to get natural UVB on the porch steps for 30 seconds while i wasn’t looking. i still have everything from the last chameleon, so when i went to a reptile expo today i brought back a female veiled (and a "great plains horned lizard" [no such thing as a great plains one though, probably just a short horned)! so, as some of you know, i was going to get a pair of dwarf chameleons. i didn’t think it was really worth it if veilds live for much longer and are hardier than dwarfs.
my question is, the people there (fl chams) had the chameleons with umbrella trees in their cages. are these nontoxic plants and where could i get one from?

Remember me? Umbrella trees AKA Schefflera are fine though not terribly strong and woody plants. You can easily get one at any WalMart, Home Depot, Lowe’s etc garden centers.

Remember me? That plant is great for really young chameleons, like hatchlings. When older they kill off the plant with their claws, wolverine style.
