 Bearded pygmy chameleon question

the other post was an attempt to enter my question....... lol

Hi,
I recently got a pair of bearded pygmy chameleons in and my female is acting weird, when she is in the tank, she hides and stays on the opposite end of the tank of the male and she seems to sleep alot.
If I take her out to handle her, she is very active and moves around on my hands, I think she is uncomfortable with the male almost freightened of him, by the way he pulls her tail and knock s her down if they are together. They are in a 10 gallon tank which I was told was really good . Please help,
I dont know what to do and I dont want to lose them.

 Bearded pygmy chameleon question

Well first thing would be to separate them. If you dont have another tank, just push a piece of cardboard or something in there to divide the tank up.

Pictures and stats of animals and tank would help.

You say "If I take her out to handle her". You shouldnt handle them..
