 Nosy Be Female?

Hello,

In July I purchased a Nosy Be chameleon hoping to have a vibrant blue male. Its been a few months, and I have yet to see any blue colouring, so I’m assuimngs its a female.

When I first got it it was normaly a greyish colour, but now it’s starting to be more orangeish most of the time.
Shes usualy a pale beige colour, with darker orange or green markings on her side. Is this normal colouring for a female nosy be?

I’ll try to attach a picture of what she looked like when I got her and now.

Thanks!

Are they supposed to look that plump? Looks like eggs to me, from the bulge on the leftmost part of the belly.

im no panther person but thats definitely a female and guaging by the first pic and then the 2 month pic i would say she is definitely less than 7 months old, so she has probably yet to display full color gravid or otherwise

Yes I was thinking she looked a bit gravid when I took that pictures but she isn’t bloated looking anymore and is very active and seems backs to normal,,,
when I took that 2nd picture she was a bit stressed because I was vaccuming so maybe she was just puffing up because she was scared?
Either way, I put a nesting box filled with dirt/sand at the bottom of her cage at all times if she ever needs it.
