 Inquiry of impaction

are there any obvious signs of impaction to look for? dallas, i mentioned my chuck, saurobe became quite a bit wider in about 6 days during his shed and ive just noticed the left side developed firmer than the right. i was just wondering if there was anything i could check for to determine whether he is just getting to be his plump size or if he may need some professional attention. any experienced responses from any of you kind folk would be appreciated. thank you.

 Inquiry of impaction

I have never had a case of impaction, but some symptoms are difficulty pooping or not pooping at all, legs twitching or becoming limp, bulge on back near spine , not moving much or paralysis in the back legs. Causes can be ingestion of substrate, too much calcium in diet, basking temps too low, too much chitin in diet (although this is for insectivores mainly) and dehydration. I would suggest a trip to the vet for professional help if any of these symptoms are noticed.
