Colour and suches 
Hey, I got a collared lizard when she was about 3 months old from the pet store, and she was a grey-ish colour and black. (pretty plain jane..). She shed for the first time today (i’ve had her about 3 months) and we started to notice that she had a hint of green on her back as well as pink on her tail. Does more colour develop as they age??? I havent seen too many pictures of dull looking collareds.
Also, Im not even sure if shes a girl, it was a random decision..Is there any way to tell at a young age??? I was told i had to wait until she was full sized to tell.

that happened with my collared lizard, too. he was dull grey, black, and white when i brought him home and then after his first shed there was blue under his neck and armpits, yellow on his feet and orange stripes on his back. he’s started to dull a little bit so i’m assuming it’s because the skin is old and he’s going to shed again soon

I just got two, both are grey and orange with black lines and two black collars with orange between. the bigger just started a shed last night and is starting to get some green. mine are only about 6inches long and i know they are pretty young.

the female, shes shed a couple a weeks ago
and the male, hes started sheding again now
i got a 8% uv now which should allow better colourings for them now

Yes I have a consern to ask about the collard lizard that is facing toward the camera. What kind of collard lizard is it? The reason I ask is because mine looks just like it. And I’d like to try to research it. If you have an answer, please write me back as soon as possible
