50 Gal. Tank...Thinking about collard lizard

I got an empty 50 gal. tank, that I used to keep my Bearded Dragon a while ago. I was looking at this lizard and it brought my attention, because it has beautiful colors. Can anyone tell me more details about them? Food, and all that..... So far I still the have a bunch of stuff left...like a thermometer, hygrometer, a Zoomed Reptisun 10.0 thats about 5 months old, Clamp lamp, and I also still have the cage carpet left. And how many can I keep in there, and is it safe to use sand? Thanks in advance.

ok well I would use sand and no repti cal sand it is really bad get plain sand from like the home depot and wash it you’ll need a new uv light in about 5 months. you could keep 1 male and2-3 females in it and males also have very brightly colored throats as females don’t this is an easy way to tell the sex ok thats about it oh keep basking temps at 100 and the cage air temp should be 80-85

You are making a really good choice on the collard lizard. They have an awesome affection toward humans, once they get used to you. Also I have one male and one female and it seems that they do everything together. they bask together and when its time for bed, they go to sleep together. its really fun to watch.
