OK, that first one is the girls tanning together. They’re actually a lot closer to each other in size than that looks like, but one’s farther from the camera. Here’s another pic attempt:

OK, that’s showing up in preview, so I’ll go ahead and continue. That’s what their tank looked like on Day One. It’s been evolving since then. More climbing bricks, some areas lowered, some of the lights raised higher, and I’ll soon be adding more branches because they seem to love that big one, and also I buried a thing of wheat grass in one of the corners. I’m not watering it, when it dies it dies, but meanwhile it adds a bit of permeter cover and gives extra crickets a place to go at night besides annoying the lizards. It’s better than the fake easy to kick around stuff shown above. But I wanted to start out with a lot of running space and build slowly as I got a better idea what kinds of props they liked.
By the way, don’t waste your money on one of those cheesey pyramids. They’ll climb it sometimes, because they’ll climb pretty much anything, but they have absolutely never, that I know of, set foot inside it. That’ll be getting phased out during the next renovation, which’ll happen after I’m through getting the wood ready.

Pancho is still a bit smaller than Chica and Lupe.

In most of these pictures, that log looks like it’s part of the fake background. It’s actually pretty thick though, 3-4 inches in most places. I’ve seen them easily run right past each other on it while going different directions. Pancho, being the most active, seems to get the most use out of it. I’m curious how much of his activity level is that he’s male, how much is that he’s younger than the others, and how much is just his individual personality.

It is amazing how much individual personality they have!
We have one female - Fluffy and one male - Mocha.
Fluffy is up in the morning long before the lights come on and she puts herself to bed by about 4:00 in the afternoon. Mocha is a night owl and stays up late and sleeps-in in the morning.
Fluffy is so sweet, I swear she actually tries to cuddle! Mocha however has some attitude and will hiss at me occasionally. He’s all talk though - in the end when I pick him up and rub the side of this face he relaxes, closes his eyes and almost falls asleep.
They are so much fun, Enjoy!

Actually, I’m a little worried about Chica. Despite not actually having really brumated, excet for the short chill on the way here, she’s obviously in experiencing her first heat. Lots of orange on her. As soon as that kicked in, she got very restless, and had to be let out to run around several times a day. Then two days ago her appetite went down to practically nothing, like one or two crickets a day, while still showing the same restlessness. Then she started shedding, so I’m hoping that was what was bothering her. I don’t know.

From all the skin in their tank, she obviously finished shedding today, but they were all asleep when I got home, so I won’t know until tomorrow if she’s acting normal again or not. I’m hoping she finds the reset button by herself, because otherwise the problem to getting answers is that I’m not even precisely sure what the questions are. Haven’t had her long enough to get much of a handle on what’s normal for her.
