Attention: Yahoo Photos is closing this month
I guess They bought some photo place or something and are closing their’s down, and If i remember right, like 23rd or something. Now the cool part of this, they will let you select another host, photobucket to name one from several places, you just conerm your yahoo account by putting in your pasword, clicking yes let yahoo talk to photobucker "computer wise" then, and the really nice part, they will connect with which ever one, and move your stuff for you to the new site you select, making the same folders and putting the pics in them in the order they are in yahoo, Takes them about a day n half to complete it "did mine anyways" How cool huh, I had a bunch there and It would of took me forever to save n move them all. There have been messages going around for Years that yahoo itself is closing down... or that if yo don’t start paying they will cut off your account... Or if you don’t click on This, or click on That you will lose Your yahoo name, etc... Have some thing you can paste or a web site you can make a link for??? |

But anyways, I was going into yahoo to look find one of my pictures to share with someone and it was the first thing they showed me when I went to my photos, Sept 23? someone said was the last day, I don’t recall off hand. But after I let yahoo and photobucket do their thing and move all my yahoophotos, this is the message I get if go to yahoo photos now, "Account is locked for migration Your photos have been moved to Photobucket and we’ve closed your Yahoo! Photos account. From now on you’ll need to login to Photobucket to view your photos. " and that was it, if you have photo’s there, it should have something about it when you go into there to look at them. http://photos.yahoo.com http://photos.yahoo.com |
