yep that happens ...re- install ...is that about the way it goes ....?

Man I would like a free copy of medal of honor or something like that ...my single core 2.4 AMD 8x AGP 128 volari gpu would be trippin out I bet....on air it would hit 50c easy...I need a better heat sink/ fan socket 940...running stock.

I need a new heatsink as well, wait I need a new CPU as well..I am runnig a AMD 4200 dual core processor 2.1ghz..It not that great IMO..Looking into a 5600 with a non stock heatsink.

Well I had been looking at the FREEZONE cpu chiller for weeks as I found out about them on e-bay and visited the web page to read up...I finally broke down and ordered 1 brand new for 90.00 + shipping ...can’t wait to get it and install it.

The thing is awesome running 10 c lower on idle and just using the net...AS-5 ...in a week or so after it gels up I will start a folding program and or some other stress test. I couldn’t be happier . I just hope I got a good one and it lasts a long time. I have read all the pages on the Coolit website forum and there are some bugs that can occur.
The refurbished Eliminator for 95- 149.00 is the same thing...with a warranty. 6 chiller techs / peltiers capable of 175 watts or so.





Running stock was 43c idle and that was always off the mark by 2 degrees and when playing games it would exceed 50 c easy.

If you want to get a Thermaltake silent tower with two fans I got one ...I was impulse buying ...and now of course i don’t need it....lol

Let me know if you are interested

This fan had shipping damage ..I tested and it works fine. Shroud just has 2 pieces missing.
I e mailed the E bayer and he said / shipped an extra fan ..no charge, matches the original....Thermaltake even recommends setting it up in a push, pull dual fan set up.

Cphill58, you might want to rearrange those cables a bit. Not just for looks (if you have a window) but it will allow better airflow.

Why would I need air flow.....

Do you see a hard drive on fire ...
do you see 2 sli cards causing a heat issue...

What should case temps be ?

How much cfm should flow ?


It’s 100 + degrees outside today and ambient air is 82- 84 A/C is off for my wallets sake and the reptiles love it.
case temps are 34c and cpu is 38 running minimum usage ..

If you know about the cool it system then you know that my rear 120 cm fan grill is now occupied with this unit and to get more flow I need more holes.

I have fans inside that you don’t eeven see

But hey thanks anyway
