Door noises

i’m relatively new to computers. what is the opening (squeaky) noise then a bit later it slams shut?
also i have aol 9.0 dial up. for the last few days out of nowhere i get someone yelling WARNING (shades of lost in space). anyone know what this is?

the door squeaking is when you sign on( like your entering) and the door slaming is when you sign off(like your leaveing). i know when i had aol you could change the sound that it makes when you sign on and off. maybe someone change them.

this happens when i’m on a forum or another site. i’ll be in the middle of typing something or reading.
