use the girth of ur snake as judge most say no fatter then widest part of snake but can be up to 3x i use about 1.5-2 times larger as maximum size as petstore here cant seem supply a stead size of pinkies at any point all form tiny to large lol

If you dont want to do it that way you can just do what i did for my snakes.

baby snakes from 0 5 - months on pinkies
5- 10 months - fuzzies
10 months - year - small mice
a year and on - adult mice


if you need me to explain this a little more just ask.

It has absolutely nothing to do with age, it;s all about girth. Unless you have high surface temps, not air temps, feed 2 times the thickest part. Also, take into consideration that once mice develop hair, they appear much larger then they actually are.
