 Tank size

Here are some pics of our snow stripe corn. I am the one who posted a few weeks ago that our snake was sick. He had a slight stuffy nose, and the vet told me to increase the temp. of my tank to 85/95. It worked!!! He shed last week and he looks great (no more sneezing)! My question is: Our snake is about a year old and we have him in a 30 gallon. Do any of you think that is too big of a cage for him? Should we put him in a 10 gallon until he gets bigger? It seems very tall and the heat doesn’t stay in as well. Is it ok to put a light towel over some of the top so we don’t lose all the heat?

Forgot to mention that he is about 29" long. Is that a normal size for a corn a little over a year old?

I got my snakes last June so they aren’t quite a year yet I guess, but Trevor is 29 inches and Cory is about 32 inches... as far as the tank size, Trevor is in a 55 gallon tank and doin alright and Cory moved into his new home last month I’m not sure how many gallon it’d be but it’s 18" x 24" x 18" ... so I think the 30 would be fine
