Erm try putting more air holes in your tank, that may work.

Snowmens’ right, if you have a tank and you have something covering the mesh lid uncover some of it so that the extra humidity can escape. Also, if the tank is to hot heat will build up inside the tank evaporating the water in the dish raising the humidity so make sure temps are at 84 or 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

Quote:

now there is only carpet

that looks like regular carpet (?) if so... that could be a good factor for mold! I have a Large tank and only time my humidity is That high is when I have the water bowl too close to the heat bulb/UTH move the bowl closer to the cool side... or ...get a smaller - deeper bowl... the more open water - the more evaperation you will have... smaller in diameter and deeper gives same amount of water source but less probablity of evaporation :o)
plus you could leave the top uncovered or uncovered Some!

Bee-ster remove the carpet as this will hold moisture if wet at all .go back to just aspen that might help with the problem .
