Quote: my question is.. I have a 20 gallon and a 40 gallon breeder that is open for him to go into once I get him back. Is the 40g breeder going to be too large right now? I would say use the 20 Gallon tank. When you get it back (Congrats btw), let it acclimate, just like when you first got it. At Least One week, No Handling, No Feeding! Moving is a "Big Step" for Any snake!
Get the 20 gal set up Now, and have the temps/humidity correct Before bringing it home... Save the 40 gal for later on. Corns do most of their growing the first 1-2 years, but for a Full Grown Corn, a 30 gal is sufficient, 40 gal will be ok though. As far as feeding... the prey should be about the size of its Girth (widest part f the body), Once a Week. Good Luck, and keep us posted! Will be waiting for pics |

Here is a picture of him from 8 months ago, he loved that paper towel tube more then anything, but I doubt he is able to fit in one now lol I’ll have to get some new hides, I dont know how he is being kept right now, besides still being in a 10 gallon, I hope they kept up with Aspen bedding, but I have a feeling they changed it to something like Cedar or Pine cuz thats just the way they are, they dont think things like that harm animals.
