Kinks Corn snake hatchlings are generally all disease free when they hatch from the egg. Some do have defects called kinks that are caused by environmental factors (temperature and moisture) during incubation. I hope this solves alot of questions about kinks and how snakes get them.

Kinks Actualy ive had experiance with 2 kinked snakes and belive some kinks are bcoz of malnutrition.the one has 16 kinks and after 1jr of extra calcium hes the same(actualy getting more kinks as he grows) the other had 5 kinks and after 6months of extra calcium not a kink to see or feel! U wont know she even had them.
