 Let me test my Genetic know how...Am I right on this?

Okay so if I understand this correctly, If I breed a normal and a normal I will get normal babies, but if I breed a snow to a normal I get normal het snows? And if I breed those babies to another snow or normal het snow I will get snow babies?
Which color genes are recessive and which are dominant? Because I am sure that is how you can get stiped motleys and striped snows and stuff right? By breeding a snow with a normal that is het for stripes or motley and then breeding the normal snow strip motley babies to another snow that is het for striping or a nothing stiped normal that is het for snow? Am I right of am I just really confused?

Pretty much all the corn morphs are recessive to the normal or "wild type". There are a few exceptions, like bloodred is codominant with normal, and ultra is codominant with amel. With anery, amel (snow being anery and amel), stripe, caramel, butter etc etc these are all recessive to normal. So you’re right in saying if you breed a normal with no hets and a snow, you’ll get normal het snow babies. If these babies are then bred together you can get snows - but only 25% of the babies will be snow - some will be normal, some anery, some amel and some snow, as there are two recessive genes involved here. A stripe bred with a normal will produce normals het stripe, and stripes can be produced in the second generation.

oh okay, thanks for that It makes sense now! I figured I had a handle on it, but wanted confirmation to be sure.
