Ring neck PUT IT BACK! God so what if its " laid back" if you found a bear that let you touch its foot you wouldnt bring it home. Its a wild animal!

Ring neck I would suggest putting it back, I’ve heard that they can be hard to get to eat and keep healthy. I caught a ring neck the other night, very cute and nice little snakes.

Ring neck yes i understand what your saying and i would never bring a bear home because it could kill me i happen to have many of friends that keep them here in the virgina mounts. and of corse if i cant get it to eat id let it go i was even really thinking abought building a viv. for it because i like it i know there hard to take care of but i wouldnt minde takeing a try at it if i fale the worst that could happen is i let it go where i found it if ya still say its a really bad idea ill let it go at the moment its stareing a red back salamander down lol

Ring neck No i didnt mean the bear would kill you just the fact you wouldnt do it all together so why do it witha smaller defencless animal? sense really! just let it go it was doing ok inthe wild it didnt need you to steal it just beacause it appeared infront of you!

Ring neck Do what you want with it... You can let it go or you can catch a male and start a breeding program and sell the babies its up to you all of us have are opinions if i were you I would keep it over winter... If you do keep it over winter make sure you know what they naturally eat and how there enviorment is shaped... Good luck and deciding what you’ll do...

Ring neck Its of course up to you......
If you can get it to eat, then keep it.....But there’s a reason why nobody keeps them, they don’t do well in captivity, mainly they don’t eat, they need to be kept extremely moist, but not wet,Try it and see though, good luck....
