They do not need baths. Just provide them with enough water in the water bowl so they can soak in their cage if they want to.

 Snake baths

Corn snakes love to go for a swim in the bathtub! Make sure the water is just tepid (warm not hot) the temp you would put a human baby in, it can be several inches deep, snakes swim by instinct, a lot of times they get warm and relaxed, have a great swim for a couple minutes and poop in the tub, if they do take them out right away as to not get it on themselves. All my corns like to swim in the tub, it helps around shed time too, just make sure you keep a good eye on them so they dont slip out of the tub and be lost.

 Snake baths

Being placed in a bathtub is very stressfull for these snakes. Yes they do naturally swim but if you notice they swim around kind of fast and go from side to side and end to end....they are looking for a way out.

 Snake baths

I have heard mixed ideas about " snake bathing" but I will say this much....if you let your snake swim in your tub and it takes a poop make sure you disinfect the bath tub REALLY well. I recently had to assist my snake when she shed and I did that by using a long tupperwear container with some warm water and just kind of " dipping " her in it , this helped the rest of the skin come off... but she wasn’t happy about it and showed no desire to be placed in the container .

Wisema’s absolutely correct.
Your snake isn’t going to love goin’ for a little swim. It’s gonna stress her out.

I can see how you might do that with a larger corn if it’s having shed problems but i wouldn’t do it for no particular reason.

And if your snake is having shed problems either stick a humid hide in there with her and let her do it herself or put her in a small container with either a small amount of warm water or moistened napkins etc...

 Snake baths

i woudl say it depends on the snake as i have one that will lounge in the water(found out in sink when shedding issues as humid in apartment was below 15% and had been gone all day for mistings) but when put in sink it swam a circle oddly peeked head out form under the half inch of water or inch whatever it was at i forget but know it wasnt deep and just relaxed, but the other one that shed aroudn same time didnt like it what so ever glad we in house now and got humidifier going but even without it stays higher then apartment which is nice lol. so i think its dependent upon the snake itself as with so many other things concerning their care
