5th clutch laid tonight
The other pairings that laid eggs for me where: Amel X butter to yield all amel babies that are het for caramel (butter) bloodred het hypo X bloodred het hypo to yield bloodreds and hypo bloodreds hypo stripe het amel and anery X hypo stripe het amel and anery to yield hypo stripes, amel stripes, ghost stripes and maybe snow stripes hypo miami X crimson to yield crimsons and hypo miamis |

Here are the pics of the clutches and the Amber laying her 4th egg. There is a 5th clutch underneath the others that you can’t see. I had smaller clutches this year mainly because I had 4 first time mothers who are between 36 and 40 inches (91-101 centimeters) long. My one bigger expected clutch was a bust w/ 26 bad eggs. I believe something was wrong with the male mainly because he regurgitated and died unexpectedly 2 weeks after he stopped breeding!! It was a shock since he seemed so healthy and was eaten just fine. But the sudden death and the fact that the entire clutch that he sired was bad leads me to believe that the problem may have been with him.
