 Where could he be?!?

my 10mnth old corn snake zane has escaped and i have searched everywhere, doese anyone have any ideas on how i can temped him out from hiding, thankyou.


im stressing soo much coz im worried he’ll get hurt and be really cold.

ok this is what you do:

Put a pan of Water in every room
Both a live or frozen mice in every room next to water Pans
Put flower on the floor so (since shes nocturnel) you can see where she went in the morning.
also... check under pillown blankets etc.

When I had a baby get loose I laid "walmart" plastic bags all around the edge of the room. Then at night I heard where he was! More good places to check are under sicks and under the fridge....anywhere warm or wet. :)

Well, I’ll suggest something you really won’t like... but its true.

You can do your best to look, but chances are you really won’t find it by doing all the exhausting moving of furniture, etc. The reality is, she could be within 3 feet of her tank and you wouldn’t find her.

Follow all of the above advice... and if you find her GREAT!!! If not, calm down and realize that she’ll show up when she shows up. I found one of my snakes 4 months later in one of my brother’s dorm kid’s shoes! Another, 2 weeks later right by the tank, etc. Sometimes the only thing we can do is keep our eyes open for movements on the floor and wait for them to show up. One time, out of the corner of my eye, I thought my escaped amel was an extension cord. But realized there were no outlets there... so when I looked again, there he was!!!

Trust me, I know how stressful it can be... but after some thorough looking, some less stressful waiting is all we really need. Just make sure to close your entry and exit doors immediately so that the snake can’t get out.

ok thankyou, i may be moving in august so i sure hope zane turns up before then. i wont leave him behind thats for sure. thanks everyone for all the tips and advice, i cant stop thinking about wether or not hes alright. i just keep thinking that may be hes found a way under the floor boards and then hell never turn up.

thanks, my sister has left the back door open all day on purpose! may be she let him out of his vivarium on purpose aswell? gosh i hate her most times! there wernt any sighn of him last night or any marks in the flour! im getting so worried.

well if your sister didnt let her out and he just got out,he is most likely going tostay in the same room,before i found my corn,i found his shedded skin in between my closet door and the wall and he then wondered out my door and a few feet away from my door in the hall,good luck on finding him!
