I may come along just to look at all the pretties as I live down the road in Southend. Depends on whether I’m still here as I’m moving in to a new house at uni in the next few weeks. Hope to pop in though! it will be awful having to restrain myself from coming home with anything :(

Yep, you had some little beauties on your table! I’m sorry I was a bit dazed and didn’t talk for long. It was so hot in there and we literally had to whip round in about half an hour as my mum drove me but she had two of her friends with her as well who were going to view a house. It was a manic day.

The temptation was too much for me in the end. I begged and borrowed from mum’s friends and put together £4.85 I found in my bag to get this little beauty. She popped female, I don’t think she is het for anything but I just fell in love with her. Amels are among my favorites :)




The mother was NOT happy. She worries about hatchlings so small (and I forget how small they really are) so while I am away she will be living with a friend of mine who has a few corns. He wanted more but no money so he is minding her for me for a few weeks until she grows. No name as of yet, I’ll wait until she’s settled in to her new home. Have to say though, I’ve never seen a hatchling this active act so calm when handled, she seems totally indifferent to the big scary human!

cheap, the stall behind me was way to cheap, i kept getting up and having a nosey over there, they didnt even sell, people probs thought they looked dodgy.

Well, allready got a table at next years barking show too, so will be there aswell.

very cute amel! looks like could be a reverse okeetee, time will tell.

I know I was surprised by just how cheap some of the corns were. I know show prices cane be under the usual price sometimes but I would rather wait and save a bit more money knowing I’d get a high end hatchling that has records and maybe more likely to survive.

The amel was a little bargain, there were only a few normals and one other amel left on her table although the same people were selling grown on corns as well that didn’t look to bad. When I picked up her tub she was burried with just her nose peeking out and when she moved she seemed quite bright for a hatchling who has only had a few sheds. We’ll see how she turns out, her saddle borders are quite white but she was sold as a regular amel. Either way she’s cute, if she takes a more RO look in the future it will be a bonus :D
