 Yoshi is acting weird.

I went to go pick up Yoshi and when i lifted his hide and tried to bite me then he did bite me and hes not going to shed either.He had just shed two weeks ago.He is 3/4 of a year old.does anyone know what is wrong with him?He was acting normal yesterday.

Sometimes it just happens. If you lifted his hide and disturbed him or startled him he probably wasn’t happy about it. A snake will always be a wild animal, captive bred or not and the instincts to protect itself will always be there. They don’t tame down like dogs, corns are just docile and will (most of the time) put up with being handled.

Leave him a few days and see how he reacts next time to try to pick him up when he is out and about in his cage. Check him for mites too, is there a chance he could have thought it was fedding time?
