Snake Poo What is corn snake poop supposed to look like? I hope not like a BP’s poo or I might have some trouble.

Snake Poo It it isn’t well defined right? Like you can’t actually see a lump of poop?

It’s Usually Similar to Bird Droppings . . . A viscous mixture of black and white stuff (as noted, there isn’t much compared to say, bull or gopher snakes); it’ll usually dry and will clump up in the substrate if you miss it, and the white stuff will appear chalky . . .
I notice it more on the cages where I have Repti-Bark than the ones where I have aspen... Probably the same situation if you use CareFresh, particularly if you have a hatchling . . .

It’s Usually Similar to Bird Droppings . . . the rule of a corn snake digesting under ideal conditions is 48 hours, after them 48hours, wait another 24 hours and your snake should be ready too poop. for example i feed my snake on a thursday, by saturday he has fully digested the mouse and is in his intestines, by sunday afternoon hes ready to poop it out so what i do is (im pretty sure not all parents would allow it) i put him in a shallow bath of mildly warm water, let him swim about for 5mins and he raises his tail and fires his poop out into the water like a submarine firing its torpedos, a mixture of yellow powdery stuff fires out first then the actual main stools, as soon as my snakes finised i take him out and put him back in his viv at the warm end so that he dries himself, i then scoop the poop out with a jug (dont let it go down the bath tub when u pull the plug out it will block it up) examine it for any signs of blood or anything that shouldnt be in there and then pour it down the toilet and flush it. i then have to rinse the bath tub out with alot of bleach lol sorry for the in depth info everyone but it is useful for anyone out there whos just got into the world of reptile keeping : )

It’s Usually Similar to Bird Droppings . . . also by allowing your snake to poop in the bath it is actually keeping his vivarium stay cleaner for longer meaning you dont have to clean them out and change substrate as often. : )
