 Feeding my baby corn

So as some of you know, I am a first time corn snake owner and Stuart is now about 6 months old and I was just wondering when corns are ready to eat fuzzys. I have a friend who has a couple corns and said that he fed them 2 pinkies eventually.
Im currently feeding my snake 1 pinky a week. I know he’s not ready for anything more right now but I just wanted to keep it in mind when I should start to change up his feeding.
Thanks

When he’s big enough. Feeding goes in accordance with size instead of age. If you think 1 pinky isn’t enough but 2 is too much, you can always feed him every 5 or 6 days instead of every 7.

Well I measure his skin everytime he sheds, and he’s about 2 feet.

EvilTrailMix is right, hun. You always feed them in accordance with how big they are. Not length-wise, but around-wise. As a rule of thumb, the prey should not be bigger around than the largest circumference area on your snake. :) If your reptile friend is in between sizes and still looks actively for food after it’s eaten, then it might be a good idea to maybe try two of the same size you are feeding currently. Hope this helps, and good luck with your Corn.

Also, just so you know, if your measuring its shed, they stretch as they are being shed, and it is not an accurate way to measure your snake. A better way is to get a piece of string or yarn and measure with that.

You certainly are not the first one, nor will you be the last to measure the shed. Just thought Id let ya know.
