O yea i have 1 question....Is it bad to have the Snake in a room with smoke? Like cigs or pot or any of that ...It doesnt seem like it would hurt but just want to make sure

Your snake looks like an amel, otherwise known as albino. And from what I know it could possibly cause at least a little discomfort for your snake as smoke can hurt any animal. If it irritates a person’s lungs it will probably irritate a reptile. If you only smoke occasionally and with windows open and good ventilation it shouldn’t be so bad. Otherwise I’d suggest keeping it in a different room.

It looks like a creamsicle to me. And it certainly isn’t good for the little guy! I had a friend who lost most of his snakes from Upper Respiratory Infections by doing that.

Hey..Is it normal for a baby corn to lay on top of the beding and just sleep? lol he cant be cold i have a pad under tank and a lamp..He is lyin on top of the asper which pad is under and under the lamp...His tanks 80 degrees

Does the little guy have anything to hide under? Also, make sure that one end of the tank is cooler than the other so that he can regulate his body temperature the way he wants to. Sometimes they will sit still, other times it is like they are on caffeine or something because they won’t settle down. Mine like to curl up in their hides and just stay there for days. They do tend to come out a lot at night though.
I personally would not smoke near the snakes, they can be affected just like any non-smoking person and you don’t want to lose the little guy right?
This is just my opinion. I am a non-smoker and I find it hard to breath around it and the snake is much smaller than I am.

alright i can smoke out side..But yea he has hides lol he uses them som times and som times he sits on tip of the aspen...1 side of the cage has a pad and a lamp other side is a water bowl...But on his pad/lamp side he has a rock house he goes into and on cool side he has one of the long napkin rolls to go in and he uses it alot

Hey i got my pad on the opposite side of the water bowl under his rock house...and i took some of the aspen up and felt the class it was pretty hot....He burrows alot also..Is that ok that the glass is that hot? I mean it seems like itd burn him pretty easyly....Is there anything i could do to keep it from getting so hot

Yes, if its hot enough to burn your hand, its hot enough to burn your snake. Lay your hand down. If you cant hold it there for a while without pain...it is too hot. Put the cage on a small riser of wood in the corners so it can vent out the sides as well. (Ie a shim on each corner) Doesnt need to be much, just a quarter inch or so. If you have to- carefully detach the UTH and just lay it on the desk below the tank with a small gap of about a quarter inch. Wood doesnt burn until it reaches 451 *F. (as in the Ray Bradbury title, its how I remember- that is the point at which wood combusts into flame) so, unless your UTH is getting close to that hot, you should be fine. If it is that hot...get a new one- something is wrong with it.
And yes, smoke of any kind is an irritant. In small very occational doses, it probably wont make a huge difference (Ie burning a stick of inscence once every couple weeks) but constant haze will definately be detrimental to a snakes health. ( and well...for people too. Its your choice to do it if you want. Your snake doesn’t have that choice though- and cant just go off to the other room)
