 Strange poop

I know this forum gets a lot of posts about poop. Ranging from not pooping, pooping too much, etc. So I’m sorry about adding to the infinite amounts of poop posts we have on here.

Anyway, I just checked on my snake a few minutes ago and found that her poop looks really strange from what it normally does.

If you’re eating or otherwise not in the mood, don’t look at the photo:



Overall it’s really light colored and soft looking. I was going to clean it out right away seeing as how it’s soiled one of her hides, but I’m waiting for input first. I don’t know if this is a vet worthy issue or not. She usually goes 2-4 days after she eats. She pooped 3 days ago I think, so that might be why it looks different. I’m not very familiar with snake poop since she’s my first snake. Has anyone else seen it look like this before? Am I over reacting? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Oh my god, I worry too much. I just put it in a little baggy in case I did need to take it to the vet for a parasite test, and I thought "Hey that looks like wet fur...oh DUH!" I gave her a small fuzzy for the first time on Friday. Apparently she passed the majority of the waste 3 days ago and then today she passed the fur. Crisis averted! :P

Haha, and I was going to say that it looked just fine. I can’t even remember what my snakes’ poop looked like back when they were eating pinkies only.

It’s good to see a concerned, involved owner, though. I’m sure your little snake appreciates the thought.

I definitely try to be concerned and involved, I’ve wanted a snake for years. I’d rather make silly posts like this than not at all. Even if I am slightly embarrassed at my oops moment.
