 Possible constipation

Hello!

My boyfriend and I recently received a hatchling snow corn snake (approximate two and a half weeks old) as a gift. She had her first shed and meal before coming to us, and we have her ensconced in a 5 1/2 gallon tank with reptibark substrate (she does not eat in her tank), a hide and a water dish large enough for bathing. Since we received her a week ago she has eaten two pinkies, one on Sunday and one yesterday evening.

The trouble is that she hasn’t pooped yet. I’m trying not to fret about it, but I know they generally poop about 2 or 3 days after eating, and so far there’s been no sign. Should I be worried? If she is constipated, are there any techniques to help get her little system moving?

Hi
Wait 2 days after eating, then put her in a luke warm bath. Let her swim around for a while. This should work :)

When they poop is really diferent for each individual sometimes.
Mine get fed once a week- and poop usually every other feeding.
My boas will hold it 3 weeks, then let loose with a labrador sized poop plus urates.

Ayden is right though. If they havent gone in a couple weeks, after the next feeding, put em in some room temp (86* or so) water and let them soak for 15 minutes. The water should feel tepid- like milk a baby drinks- not hot or cold.
