Baby pics! Here are the pics I promised like a thousand years ago of my little hatchling snakes. I finally got a camera now lol.
1st to hatch and one of the biggest out of the clutch. Female

2nd to hatch. This little one is very defensive and has an attitude. He’s getting better though. Male

3rd to hatch. This baby has the darkest coloration out of the clutch. Male

4th to hatch and is the other big baby of the clutch. I think he may even be bigger than N1. Male

5th to hatch and one of the calmest of the clutch. Female

6th to hatch. The Normal Motley baby that came out of the rotten looking (and smelling) egg. It’s also one of the smallest out of the clutch. I haven’t popped this one yet so gender is unknown for now.

Aside from most of the babies being shy eaters, no one has refused or regurgitated their meals. I do plan on keeping at least half the babies for future breeding projects (mostly the females lol). I love the difference in all their personalities. N1 is the most curious and best feeder. She’ll eat right from my hand if I give her the chance. N6 is the "slowest" out of the clutch. It eats slowly, and even moves around slow at times. I’m keeping a close eye on this one just in case it’s due to developing in a bad egg. I’m hopefull for this one though as it has done everything it’s siblings are doing, just a little slower lol. Anyway, enjoy the pics!

Baby pics! Awesome looking clutch. Im rooting for the little guy! I love how some are fierce, and some are totally mellow. Such varied personalities.

Baby pics! It is amazing how the personalities can be so different even though they are all from the same clutch. I am wondering if it’s safe to sex the Motley yet though. I haven’t tried yet out of fear that something may be wrong with it and I don’t want to cause further complications. Maybe I’m just being paranoid? I’m actually gonna take the Motley and the 2 females to a local pet shop. The owner’s son breeds Corns and BPs and I want a second opinion on the ones that popped as females. Maybe he’ll be able to check out the Motley for me as well. He’s really the only person (aside from my vet) that I trust with my snakes.

Baby pics! Is the little one still moving slow? Does it eat? It is possible that because the egg was bad, it did not get the same nutrition from the Yolk that the others got. Some sort of birth defect as a result, but it LOOKS healthy, though small. If it keeps eating, and growing, Id not worry too much about it. Probably not one to breed in the future, but it could be a charming pet. And who knows, maybe with a few more meals in it, it will catch up to the others and be just fine. Just a little slow. In my eyes, just as valuable.

Baby pics! I’m thinking the same thing. There was the other egg that had the badly kinked baby in it. It emerged but died about an hr after :(. It’s egg smelled bad too. When the motley emerged, it was still attached to its yolk...if you could cal it that. It was pretty hard and smelled bad. I didn’t want to take the chance of a clutch-mate injuring the snake so I put it in a separate tub from the others with the moist moss and let it be. I checked on it about half an hr after and it was no longer connected. I honestly thought it would end up looking like my one BP Ripley (with her scarred up stomach O.o) but I checked it out and didn’t see anything that looked like an injury. As of now, none of the babies have refused a meal. They all eat on feeding day, make messes out of their tubs, and continue to look even cuter than the day before lol. It is odd handling them though. They are so small compared to the rest of my snake collection. Oh yea, I was able to get that second opinion, and he popped the 3 I brought including the Motley. They popped as female to him as well. So not a bad ratio from the clutch at 3.3
