hey can u use eco earth for ur substrate because i have some live plants in my viv that i wanted to use for a corn snake

I love Eco Earth and use it for most of my snakes. It holds humidity well and is very easy to spot check. You mentioned you have live plants. Do you want to use the Eco Earth as substitute soil? If so, I’m not sure how the plants will handle it. I did however have Spider Plants actually growing inside one of my smaller Corn’s tanks and it did very well. I would say that as long as the plant is a hardy one, you could try it and see what happens. Hope this helps.

I stayed away from soil because of the chemicals and fertilizers that are usually in them. Maybe someone else with more live plant experience can help.
