Tell me or i’ll do it!

I want Anoxes to have a friend, she is two years old, weighs
75 grams, is two feet long, and i think she should have one.

So is it bad or not? I don’t wan’t her dead, but she needs to
have a friend... If it’s a bad idea tell me, or in August, she’ll
have one.

I don’t understand the question. How would she be dead if she got a friend? As long as her friend is not a king snake housed with her I am sure she will be good lol.

Super confused... But snakes don’t feel lonely like people do so it wouldn’t make a difference.

Thanks old rex :), i’ll get her a friend in August :)

Can they both live in a 20gal long until they get bigger. I wonder, what
color should I get? Ideas?

Oh and lol, my funny first post, my best friend did that lol, but I
do want her to have a friend, because I only take her out like 5
times per week...

I’m so lazy , and I HATE when she poops everywhere
whenever I hold her!

If she’s pooping on you every time you hold her, it means she’s nervous and stressed out.
Make sure you’re holding her correctly and not over doing it

It actually almost recommended that you only get them out 5 times a week think about it. You aren’t suppossed to hold em for 48 hours after feeding. As for the color I have a normal and lined they are two awsome snakes

snakes do not get lonely it’s not good to put 2 snakes in one cage if one is sick you won’t know which one and the other snake can catch it. snakes do like to be alone. and it is posable for one snake to eat the other.

That’s why you get the snakes at roughly the same age.
Or size so they don’t eat each. Other. My snakes are just fine and are healthy and growing.... now you will of course need a larger tank like my snake tank is a 55 gallon long. *4’x1x1.5*

-_- wow take it from someone who actually has healthy snakes living together... I would say yeah if they are in too small of an enclosure then I can see how they will fight or something? But if you have a properly sized cage!

i have had snakes more then 15 years and know people who has had them longer then that do your research you will also find housing snakes together is a no no you have not come up with one sick yet and when you do you wont know which one is sick and then they both catch it. I am not gonna fight about it snake dont care for cage mates but they are your snake do as you wish.you do not see snakes roaming around together as friends snake do not make friends

My snakes curl up under the bedding next to or wrapped around eachother? Almost everyday I go to get them out I find them both right there.

Ya I do not like to suggest people keep snakes together as it seems to cause drama. As for us we have 12 snakes and 9 tanks you do the math ;) . However like I said stay away from king snakes!!!!!

Oh and you do have to quarantine them before you house them together. So you have to have at least a temp home. You have no idea what the new snake was exposed to and if it has mites etc... you want to have a chance to catch it before putting it with your snake.

The only snake that likes to live with other snakes is a garter snake. Except some species can be cannibalistic if they’re not the same size. Don’t question this I’ve seen them together all the time in the wild.

Go on the Leopard Gecko forum she confessed to neglecting her Gecko’s, after we nagged on her for their -terrible- health condition. They all looked like they just roamed out of a concentration camp. Before she knew we weren’t stupid her defense was, "oh they just got out of hibernation."

ya but still not cool. i have read them all and ya its sounds a little weird but you can not sit hear and tell me you have not neglected 1 single animal in your life. not to wear its about to die or need meds or anything. neglect can mean that you just feed then and left without holding them and looking at them. but for you to just get on all her post and bash her i think is wrong. its also extremely rude. my friend has 10 leapord geckos and one just happen to get really sick and stop eating. i know have that gecko and trying to heal it. have i taken it to vet no because everyone i talk to says then will NOT give you med and just want to put it down. I’m not trying to be rude and i am sorry if i sound it but you could have said it a lot nicer and not bashed her on everything she posts

I am not bashing. I am simply stating my opinion. I don’t think she should be buying anymore reptiles while she can hardly care for the ones she has right now. No I have not neglected any of my reptiles before.
