My snow corn is pale looking....
About a week and a half ago is when I noticed my snow corn looked a lil pail. At the time I didn’t think anything of it since she was do for a shed. I went to feed her on Sunday like I do every Sunday and when I took her out of her cave she almost looked dead that’s how pail she was. I looked at her eyes they had the shed haze to them. She usually eats a hopper and a fuzzy or 3 fuzzys she a little over a year old. But all she would eat Sunday was a very small fuzzy. Does anyone here have any idea other then a really long shed cycle that could explain this. Her temps are 67 at night and 84 during the day on her hot side and 76 day temp cold side.

My snow corn is pale looking.... This sounds pretty normal to me. Many times, they’ll deny a lot of food when they’re in shed; their skin is tight on them, so they don’t wanna add to the discomfort by enlarging themselves.

My snow corn is pale looking.... K thanks this will be her second shed since I got her. The first time she shed on me I didn’t even know she was ready to.been 2 weeks now no shed and she still pail. I know they don’t really eat during shed found that out with my baby king snake. Since she is a snow corn I just wanted to make sure this was normal. Guess since the first time she shed for me there wasn’t any pre warning no mood color or eat changes. But this time she’s been nipy at me when I reach I’m her cage along with her pail color eye haze and no ambishion to move. Thanks for your input.

My snow corn is pale looking.... Mine usually do eat during shed- but thats just them. Each snake is individual- and since they cannot see well in shed- they tend to be more defensive in their tanks "WOAH what the ...- cold air rush and now what the heck is that huge thing commin at me!! I cant see ARGH!!"
Mine take up to 2 weeks to shed once they have gone "into blue" (which really can look bluish in the eyes- or just look like they are dull- then it clears up for a day and you are lookin all over the tank for their shed and there is none...then they actually shed and you feel silly for having worried. *Grins* After a few more sheds you will know what is "Normal" for your snake(s)
