 Question about snake health

I have a Anery corn snake. He has had yellowish splotches on his body for months, and they seem to be getting darker and more pronounced. They seem to be stronger near the head, and disappear about 1/3 of the way down his body. He is still less than a year old.

Is this coloring normal?

Also, I want to throw in that these things are absolutely adorable when they drink water, with their little puffy cheeks.

lol I love watching then drink. so cute!!

some corn snakes will actually change color (vary little change). or there colors then have now will just become more brilliant.

If I am not mistaken the blood red corn snakes are not all red when babies but slowly become dark red.

So i am sure that his colors are just becoming more brilliant :-)
