 EGG BOUND

Hi there,
I just rescued 78 reptiles that are on their death bed. i found some dead ones in with mix too, but I have one female blizzard that is WAY under weight, and laid eggs VERY recently (last two days) but it seems one is stuck right at her cloaca. It may be that she just hasnt laid it yet, but due to her size and malnurishment, i wouldnt surprised if shes egg bound. If this is the case, what should i do for her? Im googling it and asking breeder friends too, but the more advice, the more options i have. Thank you!

 EGG BOUND

You could try to soak her in some luke-warm water and gently massage the egg out. Other than that, if you have a syringe, you could possibly suck the contents of the egg out. It’ll of course kill the egg, but it’ll be easier for her to pass the eggshell. I had the same thing happen to me when I received an Okeetee from a guy that co-housed multiple corns together. Unfortunately, she didn’t recover and passed away shortly after. I hope you can help this girl. If it remains in her, a vet visit will most likely be needed.
