How fast do corns get big In three to four years they will reach their average adult size of 4 to 5 feet. Feeding it one appropriately sized prey item every 7 days will satisfy the food requirements without stressing the snake. The more you feed, the faster they will grow, but don’t feed below what is required for a healthy snake (see above). The snake will keep growing throughout it’s life, but at a much slower pace. How soon the snake reaches its adult size and how big it gets then depends on the individual snake. I find that second brood snakes (the second batch laid by a female in one year) generally are smaller when hatched and never grow quite as large as their first brood siblings.
