Corns as Pets? So...I’ve been looking into getting a snake...been really wanting a leucistic rat snake, but hear they can be a touch aggressive. I went to one reptile place today, and of all things, fell head-over-heals in love with this little girl corn snake. She wasn’t anything fancy...not a morph or anything...just a natural colored corn of about a year and a half of age. Her markings just struck me as particularly lovely, and, for lack of a better term, she was the "friendliest" snake I’ve ever handled. Nothing seemed to spook or aggitate her. She spent like 30 minutes just checking me out before finally finding a pocket in my sweatshirt and just curling up in there.
I was wondering what you all could tell me about corns...as far as owning one and their personalities and care goes. I hear they’re a great starter snake.

oh they are, they are great starter snakes, and they are friendly too! they make great pets, and live usually in captivity up to 10 years! they are lifelong friends! go to the care sheets, you’ll get info on how to take care of it. trust me, u wouldn’t regret getting a corn!
