 Interested in getting one!

have much experience in reptiles...I breed water dragons and just finished breeding leopard geckos. Since I’m not breeding Leopard Geckos, i’ve become very interested in Ball Pythons and Corn Snakes. My mom HATES snakes...so this will be QUITE some war. LOL

I was wondering if keeping them in a rubbermaid container would be better than a glass terrarium (i’d prefer the RC, since my mom wouldnt see it)

I’ve never had a snake before, but my friend used to have a 4 ft milksnake till it got lost....

I was wondering what size cage or rubbermaid i could keep an adult in. And also PICTURES of an adult...possibly referring to an object.

And cage setups, baby pictures.

P.S. BP get bigger than Cornsnakes right? If so how much bigger?I’m actually kinda nervous bout getting one since ive never had a big snake, but would getting a baby help?

Ok, well I’m thinking of both....I remembered my parent’s friend...JC, his roomate used to have a boa named sh!thead....iono why the name...so he’ll help me too. I also heard that BP take around 3-4 YEARS to grow to adults which is good too...

I love Cornsnake colors though, Someone on here has a REALLy deep red one...Oh and my mom doesn’t like how snakes "wriggle" like worms. Yea, im gonna see if i can get one on my birthday September 30th. I usually always get a pet on my b-day LOL....Last year i got a parakeet...recently gave it away...the previous i got 2 leopard geckos...the last i got 1 bearded dragon which died and i ended up getting a water dragon. etc.

I rented books from the library. Also...is it good to hold them the day after they were fed??? then they have digested it and aren’t hungry.

A good size for an ADULT corn snake is a 20 gallon long, or a 29 gallon with tall branches for climbing...This is min. size for an adult.

Yeah i use a 40 gallon for my corn snake. It is usually not a good idea to hold them after they have eaten, or they might regurgitate. Yeah bp are big fat snakes, corns are more slender. Go with a really calm baby, so you can show your mom how they dont "wriggle like worms".

Here is my corn snake, show your mom these pics and maybe she will see how beautiful snakes can be!
