Snake crisis I would definitely check on him getting bite is a small price to ensure your snake is ok. Besides he most likely bit out of fear, if I were you I would definitely check him over pick him up and make sure hes ok keep us posted hope he is doing ok

Snake crisis Look on the lost/escaped snakes forum for the post called "recapture of lost snake". This is what worked for us. We’ve had four snakes escape in the past 2 years and have recaptured all of them. The first was caught with the trap. The second I found in a tool box while looking for a hammer a month after he’d escaped. The toolbox was 18 inches from his tank. The other two were both out crawling in the open when I found them. Both were very near their tanks. My experience has been that snakes tend to stay very close to where they escape. A small baby snake can get into an incredibly tight space and stay there for a long time. Make sure that if you move anything out of the room it was in (piles of laundry, boxes, backpacks, whatever) that you thoroughly check it so you don’t accidentally move the snake to another room. I wish you the best finding your snake.
