 Not eating

Hey I know this is the corn snake forum but nobody has posted in the milksnake forum in a while. My milksnake won’t eat. I hope it’s not brumating. I fed her a fuzzy a week and she always ate. I try to feed her today but she doesn’t want I’ve left it in her hide assuming she would eat it. 3 hours later it’s now 7:14pm here the fuzzy is still in there. Should I leave it in there overnight or would the fuzzy go bad? I pricked a hole in the fuzzie’s head so the scent would be able to be picked. I’m getting a bit frustrated. Thanks.

I would leave it in her favorite hide overnight, and if she doesnt eat it throw the fuzzy out and leave the snake totally alone for a week, only going in her tank to clean and change water. Then try her again in another week.

Is she going to shed soon?

I had a Albino Corn snake that didn’t eat ever i had to force feed it (DON"T DO IT) it’s a bad thing. Here"s a trick it’s a proven feeder tip, Ok take the snake out of the tank and put it into a small small tank and throw the fuzzy in there with it and leave it in a dark heated room and leave it go. DON"T even check on it for like a day it is sure to eat it and you could use the end of a pillow case but why do that i use a tank like a kritter tank and it worked perfect everytime but the 1st time i checked up on him he spit it back out but it work’s if it don’t then thats not the reason he is not eating Hope This Help’s

1 missed meal isnt anything big. You said you tried a fuzzy and it hasnt shed in a month right? So I take it its a young one, they shed about once a month and he just might be shedding, just feed him next week on his regular day, no biggie.
