Newbie Questions
Hey, I was thinking about getting a corn and I have a few questions. 1.) What is the best substrate to use? 2.) Who are some good breeders on the internet? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton

Newbie Questions I got my corn from this website . There are many different kinds to choose from. Ours came very healthy and ate without any problems shortly after we got him and he can be easily handled. He has also already gone through his first shed. I’m sure there are many more places but this is where we got ours and we are very happy with our little guy. :)

Newbie Questions well u can use aspen, newspaper, reptibark, or astro turf. i use reptibark myself.
your snake most likely will NOT constrict you, but if he does, just bend it’s tail backwards, or put beer, or somthin like that around his mouth.

Newbie Questions THe only reason a corn will constrict you is if its a feeding responce. I ahve ahd a 3.5 fotter constrict and it ahrddly hurt. THe safest way to get a sanke to release is b y running it under cold water. Beer can be bad for the snakes by burning andf if it gets in them it can potentially kill if to much is ingested, bending the tail backwards can break vertebrae.
