 Need To Know Now !

OK I have a heat lamp for my corn and my gecko but only one of them has a night bulb so I can’t use the bulb for my snake whitch means that the tank may be as cold as 65 degrees at night is that ok ?

Probably not, it is likely to give it a reapirotry infection why not but out a few bucks and buy a night bulb or a UTH.

Go ahead and use the crab heat pad for now. It won’t hurt anything. It may not get as warm as a larger heat pad but it will be warmer than nothing.

They’re tiny UTH’s that won’t melt plastic kritter keepers. I think it’d be OK for a little snake. A temp gun could help decide for sure! I can’t remember if it heats to 80’ or what? That’d be OK for a night time drop & supplement in the daytime with a heat bulb.

But when the snake gets bigger that little UTH won’t be big enough for it to coil its whole body over.

Sometimes they will & sometimes not. Try very hard to not bend the pad at all. It won’t really stick after you used it once, but if none of the wires inside break, it should still heat up.

OK this is a 2nd attempt so sorry if there ends up being a double post...

Try not to bend the pad as you remove it. It won’t stick after you’ve used it, but as long as none of the little wires inside break, it should still heat up.
