Hi everyone,im new here!!this site is great!!

They usually reach adult size at 3 ears old but will continue growing but at a slower rate after that.
Sounds like he’s a 2005 hatchling!very nice

 Yep...

yea well actually my hatchling died a few days ago, but I got a new reverse okeetee yesterday and i wasnt going to feed him for about 2-3 days so he could have time to settle in, but the pet store insisted I feed him imediately when i put him in his new home, but i didnt think he would eat..well he didnt immediately but i got him around 8pm and left the fuzzy in there over night and it was gone in the morning. So i was actually pretty surprised he ate the first night too. I fed him a fuzzy that i thought would be big enought, but this morning when I looked in and the fuzzy was gone, there wasnt really a buldge at all. I believe my new corn - Bubba, is about 20 inches i think.

Cool well you should of given him at least 4 days to settle down before trying to feed because now you face the risk of him regurgitating up his meal.Hope he keeps it down!

if you don’t want your snake to regurgitate, don’t play with him for tow days after he eated, that way it will be ok,does your snake move a lot? mine always come to me when i put my hand in the viv, think he like me!! hihihi

 Yep...

About feeding umm I have a new snow corn and I’ll try feeding him today but if he dosen’t eat it will be a month without eating and that’s not very good for a baby as he is getting weak . Any suggestions of what I should do to encourage his eating or what I should do if he dosen’t eat ?

Hiya
Ok, with new corns general rules.
1. hatchlings, leave for 4 days, adults, 2 days.
2. never under any circumstances handle for at least 2 days after feeding for extended periods of time, except obviously moving snake back into viv from feeding tank, if you do this.
3. Try and keep as quiet as possible when near theyre viv, they are very very timid at hatchling age.
hope this helps

Rebel said you have to leave him alone after he eat, that’s true,a baby corn snake eat one pinky a week, mine is not shy at all,he is very friendly i think. Its not the first snake i have,2 years ago,i had a royal python, now he live in Montreal biodome,my uncle work there and they needed a big snake so that’s why he’s there now.
