 What are they

I’m new to having insectervous reptiles and have only been keeping crickets for a few months but have noticed this mealworm type bus which have black lines on them as well as being seemingly hairy. I had always prsumed they were cricket larvae but thinking about it crickets dont have larve do they? Anyway recently i discovered quite a few in my cricket keeper and these cricketrs didnt last ong at all and im consendered thee things are eating them.

 What are they

crickets lay eggs. which hatch into baby crickets. (pinheads and smaller)

do you have anything like nats or flies that could be getting into your tank? if a nat or fly got in they do have larvae. just an idea.

but honestly i dont know what that is a picture of.

 What are they

i dont know what they are but they eat crickets i know for sure. i wednt to petsmart last week to get fresh crix and while the lady was putting some in a bag i looked at those little plastic things the come with prepackaged crickets. not one had any live crickets in them and some didnt have anything but something that looked like cruched crickets. all of them had those little larvae. im pretty sure those were eating them all so i made sure to say something about it and they had no idea what they were. all i know is that you need to keep them away from your crix or you wont have any.

 What are they

I know what that is, it’s a flour beetle grub. sometimes theres a few in the boxes of crickets u get. they dont hurt the crickets but they do eat their food so kill them, they’re just a pest and they will over-run ur crickets eventually. my toads like to eat them so i use them for food when i find one
