First time feeding crickets. Need some advice. I normally only use mealworms or king worms but I wanted to try crickets for a bit. So I went out and bought 200 of them and put them in an old 10 gallon tank with some orange peel and some egg cartons in there. The cage is located in my garage because my parents do not want the bugs in the house. It got cold in there last night and went in there this morning and they were all "sleeping". So my question is will this be ok to keep them in the garage or should I bring them in the house?
Thanks in advance.

First time feeding crickets. Need some advice. Two options here. Since your garage is cold, you can either warm up the ambient air inside the cage by using a heat mat(which I won’t recommend since I find it ineffective), a typical 60 watts incandescence light bulb, a infra red bulb or a ceramic bulb. Second option is to rear them inside the house considering if the room temperature is fairly warm.
