Now, yesterday we were cleaning it out when we noticed all of these little tiney bugs crawling around under the fountain and elsewhere. We have had several full grown adut crickets in there together at the same time... and looking at pictures online, it does look like it could be baby crickets... but we’re not sure. Just to be safe, we’ve taken out our red eye tree frog and anoles and so on... we’re just wondering how long it takes for them to get to a recognizable size so we can confirm it’s crickets and not something horribly bad that could be deadly or harmful for our anphibians or worse... our room FULL of BPs. Thank you in advance. Justyn and Stef |

Newly hatched crickets look like tiny adults, except they’re white. They turn brown fairly soon, and grow pretty quickly. Can you look at one with a magnifying glass? If it’s a baby cricket, it will look like a cricket. These pinheads are approx. 1 week old.
