 WOuld this work?

I read somewhere that you need a high protein diet for your crickets. What foodstuffs do you need to feed them to get this? Also...wil maize work? (I think in the US you call it corn flower...what you make proidge from). I currently feed them lettuce and carrots.

I dont know about the corn flower, but lettuce and carrots is fine. I use Flukers High Calcium Cricket Feed. It works wonders for me. :)

DO NOT use the corn flour, lol, I use corn meal to get rid of ants. I guess the cornmeal expands with moisture and literally blows up their stomachs. It works too, just need several applications.

I feed mine oats, bran flakes, fish flakes & high protein cat food ground up. For their water source I just give fresh veggies, preferably organic, daily: potatoes, carrots, broccoli, celery & lettuce. I haven’t had to purchase a cricket in over a year now!

I’ve always fed my crickets with oatmeal. But to get a high protein diet you would want to add dry dog or cat food.
