 Cricket eggs not hatching

hey i been tryin for a while now and iv got a alot of cricket eggs that just dont seem to be hatchin, the only thing i could think of going wrong is the heat , is heat a major factor and how long do the eggs take to hatch

i know u should keep them moist and it takes about 7 days to hatch

If you’re breeding in small quantities, I’d keep whatever it is you’re using to house them on top of an electronic device that you keep on that emits heat. I keep a small quantity on top of my DVD player on top of my TV... that thing is hot since I keep it on all day. The crickets hatch in about a week and I grow them a little in there then transfer them into a bigger tank to grow out more.

I use those containers that mealworms come in and I cut a hole about .25" x .5" on the lid and put that inside a 2 gallon pet carrier which is on top of the DVD player... Now when they hatch, they just climb out and I don’t have to transfer them since there’s already food in the plastic carrier.

i stay near the equator, room temperature here range 27-32 degree c all year long, my crickets egg takes up to 15 days to hatch some even longer.

My living room is usually just under 80 F, and it takes about 10 days or so to hatch. Keeping the substrate moist is the key.
