Honestly, I am a little fussy about what I feed mine. I try to stay away from added preservatives and other junk. I would look on the box and see what is in there. Basically they will eat any grain item (cereal, bread, etc) that you offer, plus fresh veggies, which supplies the water as well.

Yes, they usually love carrots. And potatoes and brocolli too.
