Running around twitching? Ok so I bought a bunch of crickets for my various cricket eating creatures. Now over half of them have died. Right before they die they freak out, start running around the container faster than a cricket should be able to run then they flip over and twitch to death. They had R-Zilla Gut Load Cricket Drink with Calcium and fish flakes in there with them. Does anyone know what happened?

Running around twitching? Have you got blow over from pesticides somewhere nearby? They are very sensitive to pesticides, like ant sprays and wasp sprays, some of the insecticides people use at this time of year. Flea collars and household chemicals can also hurt them.

Running around twitching? lets see... i treated the cats and dogs with frontline but it wasn’t anything airborne. none of the windows have been open recently so i don’t think it’s outside pesticides... The noly other thing i can think of is that I MIGHT have had a candle lit... Would that have killed them? The candle is designed to cover up pet odor and i can’t remember if i had it lit when i had them here or not
